Tech Lead

This is a fully-remote, full-time position. Exclusive for Brazilian citizens.

A brief overview

At Tunts.Rocks you will support and grow our development team, work as a Developer on projects, and lead communication with clients, including non-technical founders.

We have clients from different industries, with different products, and you will work with a multicultural team with a variety of talents, experiences and various skill sets to find creative and inventive solutions and help you grow your career.

What you'll do:

• Instruct the team about good development practices, project standardization, tests and code review;
• Manage the team’s development schedule, from scope until deploy;
• Promote a good team culture that goes beyond just coding by observing non-functional aspects of the application such as: performance, stability, security, reliability, maintainability and keep the team focused on those;
• Guardian of overarching architecture. While the team focuses on development, the technical lead must be able to know and understand the overall architecture and the high level view of the different components;
• Help team members with technical aspects such as programming;
• Explain new projects to the teams;
• Troubleshoot any problems that occur during the development.

What you'll need:

• Experience in Database/Data Model design;
• Experience with Typescript and Nodejs;
• Experience with Agile Software Development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and with Scrum Methodology;
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing and end-to-end testing (Jest, Cypress);
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Github Actions, Gitlab CI/CD, and Docker;
• Hands-on experience with Javascript ORMs like Sequelize, and TypeORM;
• Experience with Authentication services like Auth0 and Firebase Auth;
• Experience in log analytics, event streaming and consuming using any event streaming platform/framework;
• Experience with product operations management in the area of application performance;
• Strong technical mentorship skills;
• Experience working with remote and distributed teams;
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth company;
